The Forest Hill Family Health Associates’ (FHFHA) Medical Director, Thomas R. Ortiz, MD announced the establishment of the Forest Hill Practice Without Walls (FHPWOW), a home medical visits service with remote patient monitoring and has named S. Vincent Grasso, DO, MBA as its Medical Director. The FHPWOW is created as a direct response to patient’s needs who otherwise could not receive comprehensive primary care and chronic disease management in the traditional medical office due to debility or disability. With remote patient monitoring and chronic care management now available with enhanced technologies and the aging of the population, this service is long overdue.

Dr. S. Vincent Grasso joins the medical staff as an experienced physician practicing classic osteopathic physical manipulation methods for increased functionality and mobility and pain management. Additionally, he has worked as an architect of interoperable health Information technology and will bring this capability to this home visit medical service.
