Ms. Naquisha Knights is the newest addition to Forest Hill Family Health Associates. She is a nationally certified Physician Assistant that enjoys working in diverse communities with a passion for educating patients. She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. After completing her degree, she focused on pursuing her Physician’s Assistant degree at The City College of New York in New York City.
Ms. Knights started her medical career at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York, in the Bone Marrow Transplant Program treating patients with Multiple Myeloma, Lymphoma, and Leukemia. She enjoyed educating patients and their family regarding the process and side effects of a bone marrow transplant. As her career began to progress she returned to New Jersey to work at Englewood Hospital in the Medical Oncology Department with a focus in Gastrointestinal and Breast Cancer. She was empathetic to all her patients and took pride in informing patients on chemotherapy regimens and the side effects.
After working in Oncology for 5 years, she realized that Family Medicine was her true calling. She has been able to adapt to this new environment while helping patients find solutions to their problems and being empathetic to their situation. With her persistence to learn she plans to continue her education by pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration.
