Graduated Rutgers University with High Honors in May 1980 with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work. He also graduated Rutgers University, School of Social Work in New Brunswick in May 1981 with a Masters Degree in Social Work.
He has over thirty-six years post graduate experience conducting individual, marital and family therapy. In addition, he has conducted group therapy in Anger Management and Parenting Skills for many years. Experienced working with ADHD, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Domestic Violence, Adolescent Conduct Disorders and various other DSM-V diagnostic categories.
Mr. Diaz worked as a Family Therapist for 30 years at United Family and Children’s Society, Plainfield, N.J. from 1983 through 2013.
He worked as a Clinician for a psychiatrist at St. Francis Hospital, in Jersey City, New Jersey for 3 years. He also worked as a Child Abuse Social Worker in Newark for over 20 years.
Finally, he is presently working at the Forest Hills Family Health Associates since 2012 to the present, conducting individual comprehensive Mental Health and Substance Abuse Assessment for each patient, to identify their needs and provide therapy and make referrals when appropriate.
